Rod Vick is the award-winning author of Kaylee's Choice, The Jupiter Stone, and The Irish Witch's Dress among others.   A former newspaper editor, Mr. Vick teaches writing classes and workshops and has been a featured speaker at dozens of in-services and conferences.  His writing has won awards in both regional and national competitions, and he was chosen as the 2000 Wisconsin Teacher of the Year.   Mr. Vick lives in Mukwonago, Wisconsin with his children, Haley and Joshua, and his lovely wife, Marsha.  In his spare time, he runs marathons, enjoys his daughter's music and theater performances, chases his son from one soccer game to another, and pitches a pretty mean horseshoe. He is available as a speaker and for interviews.  He also enjoys attending feiseanna to see the extraordinary dancing and to share his Kaylee O'Shay, Irish Dancer series.
